Ross moved to Utah from England in the mid 2000s, and began his career in the mining industry. His work took him around the world, and he found himself working everywhere from Tanzania and Mongolia, to Canada and the United States. He learned to communicate with locals when no common language was known, and developed a deep appreciation for the vast cultures of the world. When Ross was home, he fully immersed himself in the comfort of Utah culture; skiing, snowboarding, cycling, climbing, and hiking whenever he could. Meanwhile, he attended the University of Utah and studied business and marketing, learning the tools he would later value in his real estate career. After some time, Ross was promoted, and no longer found himself traveling. He was now the head of the mining company's publications department, and putting to good use his talents. The new role allowed Ross to further his international and domestic communications skills, and provided him a platform to develop his knowledge of marketing. Ross continued in his position for two years, all the while learning new and varied expertise. It was at this time that he learned of a new opportunity in real estate, the profession he had long sought after, and joined the Engel & Völkers Park City team. In this role, he acquired new skills, and hones his existing talents. Marketing, client development and outreach, market advising, and business operations are a large part of his daily life in the world of resort real estate. He acts as part of a team, marketing and selling numerous development projects and single family residences in park city, and continues to embrace the park city lifestyle. Ross prides himself on bringing a fresh and authentic perspective to the local and international real estate experience.
